The history of Nonna Rosa dates back to before 1642, when the original
building was a haven for Oliver Cromwell and his Roundheads, during the
civil wars against the Cavaliers.
In the basement of Nonna Rosa we still have the secret passages that were
used by Cromwell, which lead from Uxbridge town all the way to the outskirts
of Ruislip. |
Our philosophy for the past 30 years at Nonna Rosa still holds true today.
We are about high quality produce and authentic food served in a stylish
surrounding at value for money prices.
All our dishes are prepared from the freshest and finest produce delivered
daily. We do not use any non organic or GM modified ingredients. Nothing on
our menu is pre-cooked, which allows us to adapt any of our recipes for
specific dietary needs.
Our restaurant is a place to have a quite romantic meal, listen to live
music, talk business in one of our conference rooms or celebrate a special
occasion. We also offer a delightful roof garden, which offers a touch of
the Mediterranean away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
